PowerTHERM Examples

The following animations (roll over images below) show the time evolution of several surface and flow distributions of a coupled PowerFLOW/PowerTHERM/PowerCOOL simulation. The geometry represents a real vehicle with its complete complex underhood parts. The simulations included the effects of heating from the heat exchangers as well as surface temperature predictions including convection, conduction, and radiation effects, in particular from the hot exhaust system.
